The commercial for the new, female-driven, Babes in Disney-owned Beauty and the Beast TV series is just as hilarious and heartwarming as the other.
You might even recognize some of the characters.
The original series, released in 2010, featured a young, blonde Disney princess who had been raised by her grandparents in a home that resembled an ancient Roman palace.
But in the show’s sequel, Beauty and The Beast: Book of Beauty, Disney released a new Cinderella, the new princess of the kingdom.
The character was voiced by actress Elizabeth Banks.
The commercial features an all-female ensemble, as Banks portrays Belle, a fierce witch and fierce warrior.
The cast includes Lily Collins (Finn) as the young princess, Kristen Bell (Ginnifer Goodwin) as a witch, Tiana Riggs (Frozen) as Princess Aurora, Anna Kendrick (Wicked) as Rapunzel, Jennifer Lawrence (Gone Girl) as Belle, Emma Watson (Harry Potter) as Pocahontas, Sofia Boutella (Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them) as Angelique, Emma Thompson (Coco) as Emma, Jennifer Connelly (Fargo) as Gaston and Tim Roth (The Lego Batman Movie) as King Arthur.
The ad is based on a viral Facebook meme that spread across the world on Wednesday.
Disney also released a clip of the show, which was originally broadcast on Monday.
The animated series debuted on Disney Channel on March 5, 2019, and continues through March 20, 2020.
