The Samsung SmartThings smart home hub has made waves, but its a bit pricey.
But now the company is looking at ways to make the technology even more affordable.
According to a blog post on the Samsung website, Samsung has been working on a “quantum-scale vacuum” that would allow users to remotely vacuum and clean homes.
The vacuum would also be capable of cleaning “towels, sheets, and other materials from the floor, as well as dust, water, dirt, and mold.”
The vacuum could be integrated into a standard vacuum cleaner, which would allow the owner to clean multiple homes at once.
The vacuum is said to be a significant step forward for Samsung, which has struggled to find a solution to the rising cost of its smart home technology.
The company recently rolled out a smart home product called the Gear VR, but the GearVR had a price tag of $300.
Samsung’s SmartThings hub was also a step up in price from the Gear.
The company recently announced the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S7, which were released just weeks apart.
